Subscriptions and Payments

Subscription fees

The subscription fee (due on 1 January) for the current year is £45 per year for full membership and £20 for student membership. There is an additional administrative charge of £2.50 if paying through the RNS website via Worldpay (the ‘Pay Now’ buttons below). Payments can also be made by cheque, payable to the Royal Numismatic Society, which should be posted to the address at the bottom of this page, or by standing order or by direct bank transfer using the information provided to all new members with their membership number. To have this information re-sent to you please contact Henry Lythe at info@numismatics.org.uk.

Students must also return an application form when they first apply, and produce proof of student status thereafter. Proof of student status will usually consist of a scan of a current student ID card, showing the institution, student’s name and an expiry date in the future.

Due to the prohibitive cost of processing payments made in foreign currencies, the RNS only accepts payment in pound sterling (£/GBP). If this presents a serious difficulty for you, please contact Henry Lythe at info@numismatics.org.uk to discuss the best way of making your membership payment.

The buttons here may also be used to pay arrears for previous years.

Full Subscription £47.50

Student Subscription £22.50
