Awards

As part of its aim to support numismatics, the RNS awards a range of honours and prizes and provides funds via grants for numismatic scholarship. Some of these grants and prizes are funded directly through the RNS’s general funds or from bequests to the RNS for specific purposes. Others are administered by the RNS on behalf of third parties. As a result, many of the awards and prizes have specific requirements attached to them, either concerning the nature of the recipient of their work. If you are interested in applying for a grant via the RNS or in nominating somebody for an honour, please read the guidelines carefully for grants (includes a downloadable application form) and honours and awards generally and for the specific grant or prize you are interested in.
