This Fund was established in 2026 with the aid of a generous donation from Michael Chou, Macau, publisher of The Journal of East Asian Numismatics. The purpose of the Fund is to promote numismatic research in mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan for the public benefit. The Fund is intended to support visits to the relevant numismatic collections in the UK by applicants who are resident in mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan.
Applications should be made to the Society by 28th February or 31st August each year using our standard application form. You will be asked for:
· a description of your intended project;
· a description of how you intend to spend the grant money;
· references from two referees, who must be academics of recognised standing;
· a curriculum vitae.
